11 Private Schools Join Cuomo’s ‘Enough Is Enough’ Initiative

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced in Syracuse Wednesday that 11 private colleges and universities are joining his Enough is Enough initiative to create a statewide sexual assault policy for all higher education institutions.  Cuomo wants to see the reforms recently adopted by the SUNY system — including the use of a “affirmative consent” standard to determine whether an encounter was consensual or not — to extend to all New York campuses.
