App Extends Safety Network at Northwestern

The "BlueLight" app is connected to a network that allows students to contact campus police with the touch of a button and automatically give police the caller's location. If the student is off campus, it automatically directs them to the nearest 911 or rescue facility, said BlueLight CEO, Preet Anand. He also said students requested that Northwestern University be added to the BlueLight network.
