Liberty University Will Send Students to South Carolina to Aid Flood Victims.

Liberty University will send up to 50 students to South Carolina to help with flood relief efforts, the university announced Wednesday. Deployment will begin Oct. 13.  This is the first team put in action for LU Send Now, a new program aimed at preparing students to volunteer in disaster relief situations on short notice.  They plan to work with the evangelical international relief organization Samaritan’s Purse and a church in Columbia, SC.
