Veterans into Farmers at Sterling College
Forbes Contributor Clark Wolf writes: It’s not exactly beating swords into plowshares – or maybe it is – but a new program has been launched to educate and train American Veterans to become productive, sustainable farmers. Sterling College, in Craftsbury, VT, is an Environmental Stewardship school that digs deeply into real life and the experiences of working with the land. They have a new offering that could be part of the solution to a number of very real problems facing us in America and worldwide.
