Bennett College, South University Placed on Probation

A local college and a for-profit school with a High Point campus were sanctioned again Tuesday by their accrediting agency. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges put Bennett College and South University on probation for unspecified financial issues. The association put both schools on warning status — a sanction less serious than probation — last December.
