Brown University to Expand Financial Aid Options for Undocumented Students

Brown University is soon to consider undergraduate applicants with undocumented or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status who graduate from a U.S. high school as if they were American citizens or permanent residents, the university has announced.The change begins with the class that will enter in the fall of 2017. Like other applicants, this group will be considered under Brown’s need-blind admission policy, with the school agreeing to meet 100 percent of each student’s financial need upon enrolling.
