Contemplative Center Nears Completion

A quiet ribbon-cutting on a wooded area near the end of Goodale Street reflected the secluded intent of the new Contemplative Center being built by the College of the Holy Cross.  The retreat, on a 52-acre site overlooking the Wachusett Reservoir, is nearing completion, with a formal opening ceremony planned once work is finished, according to the college.  The $22 million facility will consist of a 33,800-square-foot complex designed for the college's retreat programs.
