Experts: Gustavus Sexual Assault Quandary Common for Schools

Sexual assaults at Gustavus Adolphus College reflect the culture across college campuses around the country, experts have told the St. Peter Herald.  Two cases recently raised the ire of a student organization, demanding policy changes from the college. College President Rebecca Bergman held a March 7 campus forum and quickly announced the formation of a task force to review and improve the school’s sexual assault policy.  For those in criminal justice and victim advocacy, sexual assaults on campus are no surprise.
