For the Third Time, Hunter Rawlings Will Lead Cornell

Hunter R. Rawlings III, president of the Association of American Universities, will become interim president of Cornell University next month. Mr. Rawlings, who served as Cornell’s president from 1995 to 2003, then again as interim chief for a yearlong stint two years later, will take the helm following the death of Elizabeth Garrett this month.
