Provost to Begin New Chapter as President at Thomas University

James Andrew Sheppard, provost of Southwestern College, has been named the president of Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga. He will be the 11th president of the university when he begins his tenure on July 1, 2016.  Sheppard is a prolific researcher and author in the field of medieval religious studies.
