Stanford Announces New President: Neuroscience Pioneer Marc Tessier-Lavigne

Stanford University on Thursday named a neuroscientist with stellar research and biotech credentials to be its 11th president, underscoring the university's continued commitment to science. Marc Tessier-Lavigne, 56, has been a passionate advocate of scientific research during his five years as president at The Rockefeller University.
