Wheelock Names Education Dean at Texas College as New President

Wheelock College has named David J. Chard, dean of the education school at Southern Methodist University in Texas, as its next president.  Chard will succeed Jackie Jenkins Scott, who has led Wheelock for 12 years, the Fenway college announced Wednesday. He plans to assume the post in July.
