Local Company to Offer Employees Free, On-Site Education Through Lackawanna College

A new program will allow local employees of an information management and logistics company to earn a Lackawanna College associate degree at no cost.
 
EDM Americas announced Wednesday the rollout of “EDM Academy” — a pilot program launching first at EDM’s Moosic location that offers free night classes to qualifying employees. Classes will be taught on-site by Lackawanna College faculty, giving participating employees the opportunity to work toward an associate degree in business administration from the convenience of their workplace.
