Gift From Duchossois Family Will Support the “New Science of Wellness,” School Says

The University of Chicago on Wednesday announced a $100 million gift to support research into the human immune system.  The donation comes from the family of Craig and Janet Duchossois, whose holdings include Churchill Downs, where the Kentucky Derby takes place. The privately held Duchossois Group Inc. is valued in excess of $3 billion, according to its website.
