Linfield College President to Retire in June 2018

Thomas Hellie, president of Linfield College for the past 11 years, announced Monday that he will retire at the end of next academic year.  Hellie said he will turn 65 next year, so "the timing is right."  During his years at the helm of the McMinnville-based liberal arts school, Hellie has helped raise the college's academic stature, according to David Haugeberg, chairman of the college's board of trustees.
