University of St. Thomas: Philosophy Program to Stay 'Integral'

The University of St. Thomas said that it will issue continuous contracts to its philosophy professors on Wednesday or Thursday, more than a week after it threatened to reorganize the department or eliminate programs within it. The private Catholic university – named after philosopher and theologian Thomas Aquinas – withheld contracts to philosophy and English professors last week, explaining that the university was in the midst of a review of those departments.
