Wofford Joins National Effort to Recruit Low-Income College Students

\Wofford College recently joined a nationwide group of public and private colleges and universities hoping to increase college access for low-income students. The American Talent Initiative is designed to expand college access to underrepresented students, such as those from low- and moderate-income families. Based on the most recent federal data, there are about 430,000 lower-income students enrolled at 270 institutions nationwide.
