Bair Resigns as Washington College President

Sheila Bair, a former Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. chairman who took leadership of Washington College in August 2015 as its first female president, has resigned effective June 30. The college's Board of Visitors and Governors announced Bair's resignation in a news release that was emailed to the media at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, June 1.
