Kimberly Johnston Steps Down as Methodist College President
The president of Methodist College has resigned after leading the college for 11 years. When Kimberly Johnston was hired, Methodist College of Nursing was a small nursing school with only 120 students. During her tenure, the college dropped “of nursing” from its title and expanded its curriculum. This fall the college’s more than 600 students can work toward bachelor’s degrees in nursing, health science or social work, a master’s degree in nursing or several certificate programs.
