New Identity

Kenneth Garren, at 77 one of the oldest college presidents in the nation, recalls the admonition of a history professor in describing the challenge facing Lynchburg College. Next summer, Lynchburg College will become the University of Lynchburg. With the name change, Lynchburg will become the third Virginia private college to become a university recently.
