Grinnell's Gun Connection

At first glance, Grinnell College’s (Ignite Program seems like an unlikely source of controversy.  The program has local students in prekindergarten through sixth grade coming to campus for courses crafted and taught by college students. The younger students gain exposure to a college atmosphere, helping them get ready for higher education in the future. In its first three years, the program hosted 580 students taking 105 different classes.
