UR's Incoming Interim President Richard Feldman to Revive Role as Problem-Solver

In 2015, as the University of Rochester (NY) was riven over a series of racist threats made against black students made via the anonymous social messaging app Yik Yak, President Joel Seligman responded to student demands for action by turning to College Dean Richard Feldman to co-chair a Presidential Commission on Race and Diversity.  Three years later, Feldman is poised to reprise that leadership role. This time, though, he will do so as Seligman's interim replacement as president of the entire university.
