Another Federal Lawsuit Against Louisiana College Alleges Discrimination
A former Louisiana College faculty member of 40 years is suing the school for discrimination in federal court. Carolyn Spears, who joined the private Baptist college's faculty in August of 1977 and received tenure in 1984, says in a lawsuit she was let go and discriminated against because of age, gender, disability and religious beliefs. She also claims retaliation after trying to protect herself from alleged discrimination.
