No Campus Has 'Monopoly' on Mount Ida College Students, Massachusetts Higher Education Commissioner Says

The Massachusetts commissioner for higher education on Thursday voiced concerns about students who were slated to be incoming freshmen at Mount Ida College before the private institution decided to close its doors and sell off its 74 acres to the University of Massachusetts. He added that "no one campus or one institution has a monopoly" on taking the Mount Ida students who are currently freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
