Tuskegee University Names First Woman President

Tuskegee University (AL) has named Lily D. McNair as its next president.  McNair, who is currently provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Wagner College (NY), was unanimously selected by the Board of Trustees to be Tuskegee's eighth president.  She will be the first woman president of the university in its 136-year history. McNair will begin her duties at Tuskegee on July 1, 2018.
