Andrews to Shut Down Dairy After 111 Years

Andrews University (MI) is getting out of the dairy farm business after more than 111 years, the university announced Tuesday.  The Board of Trustees voted Monday to shift the farm’s focus to the food crops grown on 750 acres. The university’s farm began operations in 1901 and its dairy started in 1907. Dairy operations are slated to end in 2019.
