Could Doubling Enrollment Help Harvard's Admissions Troubles?

Harvard — and other elite universities — could assuage some of the angst around their secretive admissions policies with one simple step: Expand their miniscule student bodies. That's according to Joshua Goodman, an associate professor of public policy at Harvard who studies human capital and education policy. He argues "expanding access to high quality colleges is good for student outcomes and would lower everyone's blood pressure when it comes to admissions, affirmative action, etc."
