Johnson & Wales’ Providence President Named University’s Multi-campus Chancellor

Almost three decades after Mim L. Runey got a job writing press releases at the Johnson & Wales University branch in Charleston, SC, she was unveiled Tuesday as the third chancellor in the school’s history, overseeing programs at the school’s four campuses across the country.  Runey, currently president of the university’s 8,564-student main campus in Providence, will replace Chancellor John Bowen, who is retiring Dec. 31.
