College Leaders Issue Plea for Hate Crimes Law

The presidents of several area higher education institutions are among the 22 college and university leaders who recently penned a public letter calling on the General Assembly to pass a hate crimes law.  The letter released Monday and signed by the leaders of institutions including Goshen College, Grace College and Seminary, St. Mary's College and University of Notre Dame comes three weeks after Gov. Eric Holcomb also called on lawmakers to pass a hate crimes law during the 2019 legislative session.
