St. Joe's College Sued for Defrauding Sodexo of $1.35 Million

Saint Joseph's College (IN) is accused of accepting more than $1.3 million for renovations to its student center while knowing the school was in dire financial problems, according to a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday. Food service company Sodexo filed the lawsuit, alleging the college and its leaders of constructive fraud, fraudulent concealment and breach of contract. The company seeks $1.3 million and additional punitive damages from the college.  Read the complaint
