University of Lynchburg President Announces Retirement

After 17 years at the University of Lynchburg (VA), formerly known as Lynchburg College, and more than a half century in higher education, President Ken Garren plans to retire in 2020.  In a Friday morning email to faculty and staff, Garren announced his retirement.In an interview, Garren described his time at UL as “the highlight of my life.”
