Dartmouth President Announces Latest Anti-Sexual Harassment Plan

Dartmouth College (NH) will unveil its latest plan next month to reduce sexual misconduct on campus, President Philip Hanlon announced.  The announcement comes a month after seven current and former students in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences filed a class-action lawsuit against the school seeking $70 million. They claim the college failed to protect them from three former professors — Todd Heatherton, William Kelley, and Paul Whalen — who allegedly harassed, groped and sexually assaulted students over a number of years.
