Grinnell College Student-Worker Union Falls a Few Votes Short of Holding Proposed Strike

Just a few votes Friday prevented student-worker union members at Grinnell College (IA) from having a work stoppage. The union's constitution states that it needs two-thirds of voters to support a strike. About 65 percent of those who cast a ballot voted "yes" to stoppages on campus next week.
