Swarthmore College’s Only Fraternities Disband Amid Leaked X-Rated Documents, 'Rape Attic’

Swarthmore College’s (PA) two remaining fraternities announced late Tuesday they will disband amid outrage over leaked internal documents from one of the groups that suggested members made offensive comments about women and minorities and joked about sexual assault.  The move was cheered by campus activists, although they say that's not enough. They will continue to occupy the Phi Psi fraternity as part of a sit-in that started Saturday until Swarthmore officials commit to reallocating the houses to groups representing marginalized communities targeted in the fraternity's “meeting minutes.”
