Dr. Cheryl Evans Jones Named Paine College President

Dr. Cheryl Evans Jones is the new president at Paine College in Augusta, the school announced over the weekend. The board of trustees voted unanimously for Jones at its fall meeting Friday and Saturday. Jones, who is the school’s 17th president, said she was honored to be appointed.
