‘Passionate Feedback,’ Prompts Adrian College President to Reverse Cuts to Humanities Departments

Adrian College President Jeffrey Docking said Tuesday afternoon that he has decided to reverse his decision to eliminate several humanities departments in 2021. Jerry Wright, Adrian College vice president for business affairs, wrote the Adrian College Association of Professors in August informing them that the college intended to eliminate the history, theater and religion, philosophy and leadership departments beginning in the 2021-22 school year.
