‘Rough Week For Us:’ Loras College President On Removing Statue Of Slave-Owner

Collins said he agreed with the decisions that college leaders eventually came to. Collins didn't think a slave-owner like Loras should be memorialized on the front lawn of the school in 2020, even if Loras was an esteemed clergyman in-his-time.
