GWU Adds 14 Endowed Faculty Positions After Selling Stake in Hospital

George Washington University said Friday it will use more than $50 million from the recent sale of its stake in GW Hospital for a major expansion of faculty in medicine, health and science. GWU, the largest university in the nation’s capital, said it plans to add 14 endowed professorships in coming months. It was described as one of the most significant investments in the university’s history to support faculty.
