Hiram College Names New President

The college’s Board of Trustees announced Monday morning that Robert E. Bohrer II has been chosen as the new leader. Bohrer, who joined Hiram in 2022, has been serving as its chief academic officer before serving as interim president upon the retirement of David Haney in Spring 2023. Among Bohrer’s activities in his previous role were helping to create a support hub for students; the development of the Coordinated Assistance Resource and Education team; and helping to initiate the college’s membership into the Campus Nature Rx Network.
