N.J. University President to Retire Amid School’s Financial Struggles

After nearly a decade in the role, the president of Rider University is retiring at the end of the school year, school officials announced Tuesday. Gregory G. Dell’Omo, who has served as the private Mercer  County university’s president since August 2015, will retire at the end of his current contract on July 31, 2025, officials said. Under his leadership, the university has introduced a new strategic plan, undergone major campus renovations and expanded its academic portfolio with new programs, officials said.
