As It Downsizes, Concordia University Partners with 2 Colleges So Students Can Finish Degrees

Concordia University (MI) leaders have struck “teach out” agreements with two other colleges, meaning students looking to leave the downsized Ann Arbor campus may transfer to finish their degrees. The private, Lutheran-based university announced the elimination of athletic teams and downsizing of academic programs in June. While full classes are ongoing for the 2024-25 school year, the significant reduction will begin in the fall 2025 semester, university officials said Monday, Oct. 28. Madonna University in Livonia and Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio will allow Concordia students to complete their academic programs.
