Linfield University Names a New President

Linfield University (OR) has named Mark Blegen as its new president. Blegen replaces Becky Johnson, who has been interim president since January, when Miles K. Davis stepped down after five years in the top job. Blegen was selected after a 10-month search. He starts on July 1. Blegen is currently provost and vice president of academic affairs at Carroll University in Wisconsin. Carrol, with 3,300 students, is a liberal arts school.
