Dept. Ed. seeks foreign language partnership proposals

The Department of Education is requesting proposals for five-year partnerships in critical languages under the Department's Foreign Language Assistance Program.  FLAP "provides grants to local educational agencies for innovative model programs providing for the establishment, improvement, or expansion of foreign language study for elementary and secondary school students."  The deadline for notice of intent to apply is March 26, with proposals due on April 14.  Details are available in the Federal Register posting.
