Service Year Alliance Announces New Challenge
The Service Year Alliance recently announced their second Service Year + Higher Ed Innovation Challenge. The challenge is to innovate and create new opportunities for students to have a “service year,” akin to Peace Corps or AmeriCorps, connected to academic credit.
All higher education institutions may apply by March 11th for $100,000 in prizes. The top 3 finalists will also receive a stipend to visit the Aspen Institute in Washington, DC on April 12, 2016 to present their ideas.
