NASFAA Launches Student Aid Reference Desk
The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) has launched the Student Aid Reference Desk (Ref Desk), an online centralized “encyclopedia” of student aid-related regulations, legislation, research and other key resources. This new online tool, which compiles resources related to the administration of student aid programs, is targeted to advisors and college access professionals.
NAICU, which is a “contributing partner” to the Ref Desk, provided valuable insight, knowledge, and expertise to the development of the tool, which also allows users to search for information by topic and highlights current trending issues. Users are also able to submit resources, which will be vetted, for inclusion on the site.
According to NASFAA, it will make every effort to ensure that information provided in the Ref Desk is nonpartisan and as accurate, complete, and up to date as possible.
