Aristotle’s Wrongful Death” (column, May 27), Frank Bruni explores the innovative thinking taking place at many colleges and universities, in particular small, private colleges. While many colleges, including Assumption College (MA), have eliminated majors with minimal, or no, student interest and replaced them with programs demonstrating a sustained demand, Assumption remains committed, through its strong Core Curriculum, to ensuring that the liberal arts remain the foundation of the education students receive.
